With the global elevator market expanding and maturing every year, the need for professional maintenance and safety inspections increases further. New technologies like predictive maintenance and the Internet of Things will contribute to this. We think IEES will provide an international platform to share ideas and best practices on this subject.”
According to President of Elevator World T. Bruce MacKinnon, “The mission of IEES is to remain an innovative international showcase for the vertical-transportation sector by providing industry leaders with a platform to have a high-level exchange of ideas and information relative to safety, combined with the most important trends and technology in the industry. Keeping the global industry connected and informed was a founding principle of Elevator World. The IEES is an excellent way to help us continue to do that, while also providing valuable education to those in attendance.”
